If you total up all the banners and ribbons for all of his
cria who are old enough to show (38 cria) there are 7
banners and 43+ Ribbons! He truly is the herdsire to
choose if you want show quality cria!
He has
produced over 56% female cria, and though he has been very
rarely bred to black or grey (he was bred to fawns, beiges
and browns) he has over 64% grey or black cria!
McGinnis
brings genetics from both the Hemingway and Augusto lines to
produce these award winning cria. McGinnis did well in
the showring himself, placing first in each show he was in
and Reserve Champion at PAOBA (which is saying something for
a Rose Grey!!). He did not show as a juvenile, and he
only showed in 2 AOBA Certified shows as a yearling.
We can only imagine his list of awards if he had gone to
more shows! We are very
excited to bring his genetics to Alpacas of Ohio, and,
combined with AofO Silver Celebration, create the next
generation's Champions!
